Raise Your Glass Tour from Blue Ridge Mountain Food Tours
Walk off lunch with a 3-hour tour of the local craft beers, hard ciders, wines and cocktails. Don’t eat too much at lunch because the 5-6 brewpub stops also include small bites from the menu.

Tip: This tour is only offered at 2 p.m. on Fridays, and you’ll want to pre-register. Time or day not working for you? They offer two other food tours, also!

Check in at Your Accommodations
Looking for a comfortable inn not too far from Downtown? Check into Serenity in the Mountains where a two-night stay, 90-minute couples’ massage, Continental breakfast and wine, cheese and chocolate-covered strawberries plate is amazingly affordable.

Seeking a little seclusion? Opt for the Blue Ridge Treehouse. While more rustic than the spa, it affords all the comforts of home, a cozy bed with a bird’s-eye view of the treetops, and the opportunity to drink your morning cuppa on the porch overlooking magnificent vineyards. Yes, there is a heater to keep you toasty!

Snack at Harvest on Main for Dinner
I know! You’re probably busting at the seams from your lunch and food tour, but you can’t go to bed without something. Head over to the bar at Harvest on Main for a nightcap and charcuterie platter – or ask for the platter to-go so you can enjoy it in the treehouse.

Saturday
Breakfast at Mercier Orchards
If you’re leveraging the package at Serenity in the Mountains, you have breakfast waiting on you. Otherwise, head to Mercier Orchards for your morning pick-me-up. Nothing perks up the senses like apple butter on a hot, homemade biscuit.

Explore Downtown Blue Ridge
Blue Ridge was named one of the “Top Ten Towns for Craft Lovers” in the country. Visit specialty shops, boutiques and galleries for fine furnishings, art, antiques and unique crafted items.

Top off your Downtown tour with a visit to Multitudes Gallery, owned by Michael Lacey and featuring high-end glasswork, art and jewelry. Be sure not to miss 4 Elements Art Gallery where you will most likely find George Charriez creating a masterpiece right in the store front window for you to watch.

Lunch at Rin Tin's Barks & Brews

Tour Bear Claw Vineyard
Don your coat and scarf, and head to Bear Claw (the vineyard that is home to the Blue Ridge Treehouse). You’ll take a VIP tour to learn about the family-run vineyard, sip on six different wines from the estate, and take home a souvenir.

Tip: Tours are only available on Saturdays, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sign up online.

Dinner at Cucina Rustica
Serves Country Style Italian Dishes in an Old-World Atmosphere. Fine dining experience with Chef Danny Mellman's interpretation of Old World Italian foods from Sicilian fish dishes to Northern Italian pastas and everything in between.

Sunday
Brunch at Black Sheep
This stately historic home-turned-restaurant sits under a 200-year-old Oak and offers Southern favorites. Shrimp and grits are for the traditional diner, and the adventurous will love Nashville hot chicken atop red velvet waffles.

Au Revoirs at Fall Branch Falls
Don’t say farewell to Blue Ridge until you take in at least one waterfall hike. Yes, even in the winter – with the leaves losing to gravity, the views are impeccable. This hike is a simple half-mile journey and reminds you of how lucky we are to have such a place as Blue Ridge.
